ANNUAL MISSIONS WE PARTICIPATE IN:

​SPIRIT OF HOPE - 4th of July Celebration

We come together to celebrate the 4th with the community.  We have games and activities for the kids, a concession and sno-cone stand, a live band and of course, fireworks to end the evening.  It's a lot of hard work but when we get to present groups like Methodist Family Health, Hope In Action and The Call of Hempstead and Nevada Counties with checks for over $2500.00 each - it's truly a blessing.

CHICKEN SPAGHETTI DINNER

To help raise money for our Spirit of Hope Celebration, in the spring we hold a "Take out" Chicken Spaghetti Dinner.  The proceeds are to help pay for costs of holding the celebration. The church retains no funds and donates all monies raised to local and state wide charities.​

Young and old alike participate in this wonderful day of fellowship and serving.

The bookcase project was started to help children grow their love of reading.  

At the end of each school year, First Grade Teachers at Clinton Primary choose 30-35 children who have improved their reading skills throughout the year.

We accept donations of children's books throughout the year - 2nd grade readers please.

STUFF THE BUS CAMPAIGNS!

During the year, we will have a Stuff the Bus campaign when there is a need somewhere in the community or the state.
This particular stuffing was for Methodist Family Health of all paper goods from Toilet Paper to Paper Towels.  The items we collected was enough to last them for a year!

Food for Hope in Action - ongoing weekly - the entire congregation
