Welcome to First United Methodist Preschool & Kindergarten! In our programs here, you will find wonderful teachers, students, and families! Our teachers strive to help our students learn, grow and, most importantly, learn that Jesus loves them! Students here are always busy-- they do seat work each day, have rug time, enjoy snack time, play with their friends on the playground, and create with paints and colors and other crafting activities. On Wednesdays the students go to chapel with Pastor Steve where they sing and dance, hear a short devotional, and pray. We host many fun events throughout the school year for our students and their families. Some of these include field trips to the Hempstead County Library and Miracle Farms Pumpkin Patch. The families love building our school float for the Hempstead County Christmas Parade and putting together our "town" for Preschool Town! We consider all of our children and their families to be blessings from God and we love getting to know them and serve them!

Our day in the 3- and 4-year-old programs begins at 7:50 and ends at 11:30 Monday-Friday while Kindergarten begins at 7:50 and ends at 12:15, with Early Morning Care available at 7:30 and Afterschool Care available from 11:30-5:15 as well.
